09/23/2026 281854 Awning - Service Call (1) Manual Drop Shade with Tracks Description of Issue: Bunching in fabric on both sides. When rolling down fabric bunches and stops bottom bar from dropping. Left side is not fully in the track. Really hard to crank because of fabric. Gear works fine but needs to be inspected when the hood is off. Plan of Action: Remove hood, cover and tracks. Inspect gear to ensure it is working properly. Reassemble shade. **$100 discount applied from troubleshoot and assess.** **Technician may find additional parts that need to be ordered once the shade is disassembled, which will require another trip to finish the repair.**
08/27/2026 281373 Awning - Troubleshoot & Assess (1) Manual Drop shade with Tracks Description of Issue: The crank wand or hook is getting jammed. Unable to turn or lower the shade. Plan of Action: - Ensure the screen wasn't rolled up too far. - Inspect eyelet hook loop for rust or bending. - Check the roller pin on the idle end to make sure it hasn't slid out of the mounting slot, jamming the roller tube. - Check for stripped or broken teeth in the gearbox.
